Where to purchase games?

Posted by katie.c1 on November 25, 2014 at 6:10 PM Comments comments (0)

We received many comments and mails asking us where the best/cheapest place to buy games are, and we have dedicated a blog post to this question. Our suggestion is to buy games are electronic stores, most of them are available at your local malls. Some examples would be:

Best Buy, Future Shop, Wal-Mart, EB GAMES

By clicking the links above, you'll be taken to their online stores, you'll also be able to purchase games through here. The problem with these sites is that they are quite pricey. However, they do offer refurbished games, which are cheaper. We suggest that you constantly look at flyers and online for deals, since they come up quite often.

Red Flag Deals is a great tool to use as they are updated daily with new deals that you may not even be aware of.  There is a section specifically for electronics that would benefit you greatly! If you have any more questions, feel free to leave a comment below or contact us directly!

Far Cry is an adventure game, but also a First Person Shooter. In this installment, you return to your homeland to lay your mother to rest where she was born; however, you are pulled into a civil war that's happening because of the gang involvement in the city. Persona Q Released Today!

Posted by katie.c1 on November 25, 2014 at 5:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Persona Q is out as of TODAY! Combining the iconic heroes from both Persona 3 and 4, Persona Q offers a new storyline and new gameplay. The graphics for Q largely vary from its predecessors Persona games who gave off a darker, more mature look. Persona Q has our characters in miniature versions of themselves, a cartoony overall appearance, and a comedic, light mood. While this is vastly different from the originals, fans have been anticipating Persona Q nontheless, mostly because of the character cross-over. The game is mostly character driven, rather than story driven, with teams of 5 navigating dungeons in a first-person view. Although graphics are different, and the game has been compared to an Etrian-Odyssey type gameplay, the Persona cross-over has gotten many positive reviews from fans. It is never a dull moment in Persona Q wth character interactions and reaction in dungeon crawling expeditions. With new challenges and new adventures, Persona Q is finally available on the 3DS system and is recommended to any fan, new or old, of the Persona series.

Super Smash Bros Wii U

Posted by katie.c1 on November 25, 2014 at 4:50 PM Comments comments (0)

The much anticipated Super Smash Bros for Wii U has just been released as of November 21, 2014. Many fans of the Super Smash Bros series have been readily awaiting it since the announcement of its release date. Since then, Nintendo has been able to provide us with spoilers of new characters including Mega Man, the Wii Fitness Trainer, the Villager from Animal Crossing and many more. All of these videos are available on Youtube for those of you who are curious to see some of their move sets. However, if you weren't one of those lucky enough to pre-order the game, it's almost impossible to find as many EBgame and Gamestop stores have sold out. But don't lose all hope just yet! I recommend calling in to local stores to see when new shipments will be arriving (some folks call in as much as every day of the week) or to check online. It's just a few days after it's initial release so you may want to wait out the initial game-crazed hype.

Good luck to everyone still trying to acquire the game!
