It featured a connecting sensor for wireless use of the wii remote, connection online to download updates and or small game packs, and had additional Add-Ons that introduced 3D movement into the gaming system. The Wii introduced new interactive games including Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and many others. Hosting a balance board and using the Wii Remote, users would simulate the actual actions of the game, such as a baseball swing. Wii Fit
Our Rating: 3.5/5
Description:
The Wii Fit is a unique interactive experience that allows the user to use their balance and foot movements on the balance board to interact with the game. Wii Fit has addictive mini games and workouts that are surprisingly exhaustive. The Wii Fit games range from sports to yoga, to everyday stretches. What is unique about this game besides the interaction through the balance board system, is that the system helps to track your progress and weight. Like many games it keeps score of points and achievements that have been unlocked, but it also can be used as a trainer, able to track how long you spent on the game and you body mass index measurement changes. Although the game itself can be rather repetitive, and including the purchase of the balance board, we only gave the game a score of 3.5. What it had was a creative approach to tracking and regulating fitness, but the expensive balance board made buying the game difficult to justify unless you were going to use the board for more than just Wii Fit.
